Gina Early, Ph.D. (She/Her)
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

I was licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist in August of 1987 and have been in practice at the Gainesville Family Institute since 1989. My experiences have included providing therapy for families, couples and individuals of all ages, professional supervision, training, consultation and professional presentations.

My theoretical approach is based on a systemic and relational foundation that is deeply infuenced by Oppression Sensitive and Narrative philosophies which celebrate diversity and inclusion and social justice and socially embedded power. My work is to affirm people’s lives by challenging the cultural, social and political beliefs and assumptions that have shaped and constrained their lives.

The intent of my therapeutic process is to invite a collaborative and
co-creative conversation. By working together to find new meaning in their experiences, people are empowered to reclaim both authenticity and authorship in their lives and relationships with self and others.

I provide both telehealth and in person counseling on Monday-Wednesday.
